IT Windows-Linux System Administrator (m/f)

The Role:

As IT System Administrator you will be an essential part of our datacentre Team. 
You will also provide 2nd and 3rd level support to our clients. You will ensure the stability, scalability and availability of TheMarketsTrust Server environment. You will maintain and optimize current and future IT infrastructure based on our requirements in aspects of size, security, integrity and availability.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Increase the infrastructure availability by proactive server maintenance, log checks and monitoring notifications
  • Implement and enhance backup of servers and services
  • Ensure the creation of documentations and processes including server deployment and updating
  • Perform continuous server updating and patching
  • Maintain the development environment
  • Integrate our network with our private cloud

Qualifications:

You have the following knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of performance:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in IT administration
  • Desired knowledge of:
  • LDAP server
  • Mail server
  • Exposure to MySQL, Postgres, PODIO
  • Linux Server (RedHat, SUSE, CentOS)
  • GIT HUB
  • Scripting (Python, Bash)
  • Networking and Routing
  • MS LYNC
  • IT-Service Delivery Processes
  • Backup solutions
  • Corporate anti-virus solutions
  • Network security and VPN is an advantage

Personal skills: 

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any other language would be an advantage
  • You have the ability to build constructive and effective relationships
  • You are a team player and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
  • You are capable of being self-motivated and like to take ownership
